Step One
Start with a Retailer
In Pennsylvania, the first step in purchasing the home of your dreams is to visit a retail home center. State law does not allow manufacturers to sell manufactured homes directly to the consumer. Our member retailers are experienced in assisting consumers with finding the perfect factory-built home. They’ll work with you on financing your home, transporting the home to your home site and have the home erected on your site to your satisfaction. They have been meeting homeowner’s expectations for years.

Step Two
Secure Financing
The second step in purchasing the home of your dreams is to secure financing. Our finance members are experienced in assisting consumers in finding the necessary financing to make home ownership a reality. Whether your new home will be going on private property or into a land-leased community, our finance members are able to help you. Many of our members specialize in “home only” lending (chattel lending) for homes going into a land-leased community, while others will finance both the home and the land.

Choose a Community
